zip file for project application | |
Hello everyone, I'm attaching a zip file containing how final project.
Some coding has been done and there is still alot left that needs to be
done. Weng has discussed yesterday create the conferenceform.jsp and the
conferencelist.jsp files (look at the flightForm and flightList jsp files
for guide line on how to create the files. The zip file was too big for
me to send with my yahoo account that's why I'm sending it through my yahoo
account and I didn't include the workspace as it made the zip too big. Just
create an empty tomcat project like I showed you yesterday and drop the
confapp folder into the following directory C:\eclipse\workspace. The instructor
posted instructions for setting up tomcat with eclispse online it should
be under the section for week 7 or 8 notes. If you have any questions just
give me a call on my cell phone 773 551 3081.
Jin, Weng and I are trying to get one function to work by Tuesday and after that the rest of the work will be distributed. |

Project: "Flow diagram" | diagram.doc |
Hello All,
I have put the diagram in Visio and doc. It contains the flow of the login page to the 3 different pages, Adminstrator Page, user page and Create new user page. I.e. Login Page --> administrator Page It also contains the content of what should be in that particular page. E.g. Login Page The 3 pages (Admin, user and New User Registration page) will contains a Frame that will hold a menu page and a content page. The menu page will contains all those action buttons (E.g. Admin page contains the profile, create, delete, view all, users, logout action buttons). Whenever user press the action, say create conference, the content page will display the Create Conference page. The buttons are pretty intuitive. If you have questions, we could go over it via phone. I have discussed this with Yusuf on Sunday. Jin, could you please comment on this and see if it is a good approach to implement it in that way? Yusuf, have you find out whether we could use the "Struct" approach that you mentioned on Sunday for this project? Thanks, Weng |

Project discussions from 02/29/2004 | Tables22904.doc |
Hello everyone, I have attached a file containing the list of tables and
their attributes to this mail. Jin the contents of the file is what Weng
and I came up with as far as what we would to hold the required data. I
also have a brief list of some fields that would appear on the login page
and the new user page in the file (this is not definite but just a start). Thanks guys. Yusuf. |
