- What personal
information do we collect?
coolCDs collects information in several ways from different parts of our
website. We collect session data throughout the site, in conjunction with
cookies, enabling us to ensure each and every Web page to each and every user
is high quality, timely, and consistent with our objectives. In addition, some
personal information is gathered when you register to open an account. During
registration, coolCDs asks for your name, email address, birth date, gender,
zip code, favorite genres of music and favorite artists. The more information
you volunteer (and the more accurate it is), the better we are able to
customize your experience.
In addition to registration we may ask you for personal information at other
times, including (but not limited to) when you enter a sweepstakes, contest or
promotion sponsored by coolCDs and/or our many partners; and when you report a
problem with one of our sites or services.
If you contact coolCDs we may keep a record of that correspondence. coolCDs
also occasionally asks users to complete surveys that we use for research
purposes. Wherever coolCDs collects personal information we make an effort to
include a link to this Privacy Policy on that page.

- How is your
personal information used?
coolCDs' primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you with
personalized services, interactive communications and online shopping. coolCDs'
primary goal in collecting session data is to deliver an error free
and intuitive site, and to generate aggregate statistics about the Web traffic
coming to the site. These aggregate statistics tell us how much activity has
occurred on our site, what areas and paths were most interesting, and what
problems were encountered.

configure your browser to prevent that.

a more personalized service.

is damaged when you receive it from us, we will be happy to mail you a

those pages, information you input (except credit card, password and other

- Is it safe
to order online with my credit card?
Ordering online by credit card is the fastest and safest method of
receiving you product. All of our online order forms are located on Register's
secure order server and are encrypted. You can know they are encrypted by
looking at the status bar in your web browser. There should be a little
padlock symbol there; when you are on an encrypted secure site, the padlock
closes. Also, the beginning URL of the encrypted secure site will begin with
HTTPS instead of HTTP.

- What is gift
certificate?
coolCDs Gift Certificates are not sent through the mail; they are emailed to the recipient within one business day after we receive payment, or on the day you select if you choose a later delivery date. The recipient must have email and access to the Web in order to receive and redeem the Gift Certificate email.
If the recipient's initial order total is less than the value of the Gift Certificate, the remaining credit will be held in the recipient's coolCDs shopping account and will be available the next time they place an order from that account.
Gift Certificates are in U.S. dollars. They are not refundable and are valid for a period of one year after the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
Gift Certificates are issued and honored in compliance with the law of the state in which the original coolCDs purchaser resides at the time of the purchase. Some states maintain laws restricting the sale of Gift Certificates that are subject to specified expiration periods. A coolCDs purchaser who resells a Gift Certificate must ensure compliance with local law.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
coolCDs is not responsible for lost or stolen gift certificates.

- How do I get a
receipt or invoice?
When you receive your email
transaction receipt, please print it from your mail program as your invoice
and receipt. Keep a copy of it for future upgrades and license issues.
Be sure to store it in a safe place; this is your license to use the product!!
We recommend you keep a copy with your software license agreements as proof of
license. If the emailed invoice does not have an invoice number, so use the
order number for the invoice number if you need one.

- I ordered
a product but I didn't receive it . What should I do?

- Can I
get an invoice mail to me?
We do not typically mail invoices or receipts.
The only invoice or receipt is provided by email and should be printed by your
mail program. If the emailed invoice does not have an invoice number, so use
the order number for the invoice number if you need one. If you do not have a
printer, forward the email to a computer that has a printer. If you cannot do
that, as a last resort, we can print an invoice and mail it to you. To do
this, please send us an email with your order number and complete address. Our
email address is on the
contact us page. Allow 6 weeks for delivery of the mailed invoice.

- What
happened if the items I ordered are out-of-stock?
In most cases,
out-of-stock (back-order) items are on order from the manufacturers. In some
cases, we may be awaiting or researching information from one or more of our
suppliers. When we receive the product, we will ship it to you promptly.
Back-order titles usually come into stock within 1 to 2 weeks but can
occasionally take longer. If your order is not ready to ship within 10 days,
we will send you an update via e-mail. If for any reason we determine that a
back-ordered item will no longer be available at all, we will notify you
immediately by e-mail, cancel the item from your order and delete the item
from our catalogue. We will refund your payment for this item or you may
select an alternative of the same value.
